Wondering what to do in Delray Beach? You could hit Atlantic Avenue, drink like a hobo on vacation and stuff your face like a starved hippopotamus. Or, if you’re ready for calmer activities, take in the spectacular shopping, unique galleries and extraordinary dining – all along The Avenue and Pineapple Grove. Time for a road trip? Hop in the car and take off to West Palm Beach where you can cash out your 401k on a new pair of shoes (provided they’re on “sale”). Then again, you could drive down to Boca for even more shopping, gallery hopping and dining.

Though, if you had your heart set on a “classic” experience you may be disappointed. There’s no cheesy windmill. No fraying tee boxes that look like they were swiped from someone’s front porch during the Nixon administration. No decayed plywood clown face flaking lead paint and leering disturbingly. We have none of those things. What we do have is a brand-spanking-new facility that boasts two distinctly different and entirely state-of-the-art courses, each surrounded by ponds, waterfalls, lush landscaping and possibly a mermaid or two. (No mermen. Too weird.)
